Elementary Art
This 90-minute drawing/painting class focuses on exploring drawing and painting techniques that supports successful composition & proportion which develops observational skills and allows students to learn about various artists and their respective mediums of art. Each student works independently to develop their own interests. This is an important time for students to build the foundation of their drawing skills and develop controls over one's focus and kinetic & fine motor skills to be successful in applying any art medium. Various mediums will be used including charcoal, graphite, watercolor, pastel, ink, and acrylic paint.
